#LiveInMyBlundstones

One of my favorite parts about hitting the road are the people that you meet along the way. I learned a long time ago that people make places, and who you bring along with you matters. We ventured to a few destinations in and around the Pacific Northwest, and Blundstone helped us get there. Itinerary is always important, but the most memorable events occur in the discrete moments that we never plan.

Traveling to a destination ill prepared is never fun. I can recall so many times where I have arrived at a destination only to find out that I brought the complete opposite of what I should have brought in the first place. Blundstone helps you get just about anywhere. From the very beginning they felt as if they were customized for you as if you have been wearing them for years. We ventured to a few waterfalls that took us on quite the hike. The view, was well worth it.

I always felt that the mountains provide a refuge. A place where the noise of life disappears and gives way to a seclusive calamity that helps bring everything into focus. We set up in a cabin to get ready for a few excursions the next day. The sun peaked through the trees when the snow decided to take a break, bringing out the best of the forrest color. I have always loved that feeling of kicking off your shoes, and perching up somewhere warm after a long period of work.

We headed down the coast along the high cliffs and the rolling hills to catch some ocean time at Cape Kiwanda. This spot is a special place to me. With a perfect view of the ocean, a cliff further down the coast offers a front row seat to a beautiful sunset with the Pacific breeze blowing off of the surface of the water. From snowy mountains, to dirt trails, all the way to hiking up sand covered dunes to capture the waves hitting the shore. Blunstone helped us take in so much that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
